Timur Faizutdinov (19 years old), Dynamo San Pietrobrugo player, died today following a collision with the game puck, which took place last Friday in the match between his team and Loko Yaroslav.

A terrible news, one that you would never want to hear: Timur Faizutdinov, hockey player of Dinamo St. Petersburg, died today at just 19 years old due to a puck that hit him in the back of the head, despite having a helmet game during his team's match.
For the young player there was very little to do: the impact with the puck was very strong; once he fell unconscious, the paramedics tried to revive him, but every attempt was in vain. Faizutidnov died today after four days of agony.
The drama took place during the match valid for the play-offs of the Junior Hockey League between Dynamo St. Petersburg, the team to which the young victim belonged, and Loko Yaroslav. The St. Petersburg club, which together with the Federation communicated the death, announced that, in the next hockey matches to be played in Russia, the League has decided to observe a minute of silence in memory of this tragedy.
