Alpine Skiingwomen's world cup
Second descent training scheduled on Saturday. Sofia is fifth only 3 tenths from Siebenhofer, but the Czech one is the most scary. Brignone ... approaches.

Austria is in front in the second and final round of the women's downhill in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, the third of the World Cup season that we will see on Saturday (11.45 am) on the Salzburg snow.
Ramona Siebenhofer signs the best time in front of teammate Tamara Tippler, third at 23 cents, but among them there is the "usual" Ester Ledecka, who literally scares the race. The Czech, red bib of leader of the specialty, is certainly a reference thinking about tomorrow, as confirmed by an excellent Haehlen, fourth at 28 cents and just ahead (+ 0 â€31) of Sofia Goggia, who travels very strongly in the final and has the confidence to be able to play for the best result, on a tough track like this.
While Schmidhofer and Stuhec are out, the top ten of the day was completed by two other Swiss, with Lara Gut-Behrami still there (sixth at 44 cents.), Corinne Suter, Tina Weirather and the German couple formed by Viki Rebensburg and Kira Weidle, best time on Thursday and today tenth to 8 tenths from Siebenhofer.
In eleventh place, with 89 hundredths of gap, here is Nicol Delago who has studied the lines at best and at times is very fast, but will have to put together the pieces of the puzzle for a great race; Federica Brignone also did well, with more confidence than the first training and only 1 "06 away, with Francesca Marsaglia just behind (1" 21) and Laura Pirovano herself very positive, 18th at 1 "32.
If Marta Bassino rested yesterday and today she descended with extreme caution, reaching 5 seconds behind, Nadia Delago (3 "15) came farther from the opening test, with Elena Curtoni at 2" 47 and Verena Gasslitter at 4 â€20 (in the next few hours he will decide for his return to the race or not tomorrow).
Today Wendy Holdener started regularly, who tested herself calmly, thinking about Sunday's combined, while Petra Vlhova could compete downhill tomorrow (who only participated in the Are 2018 finals, closing 17th), who paid only 1 â€71 from the top and continues to improve even in this discipline in which, remember, on Saturday we will not see his great rival Mikaela Shiffrin in the race.
