A somewhat crazy descent, the third of the World Cup season which, on the Salzburg snows of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, sees Corinne Suter obtaining her first success in the maximum circuit, decidedly deserved considering the continuity of the young Swiss.
Italy, however, can still smile as a splendid Nicol Delago finishes on the podium, a real missile in the final stretch to reach just 29 cents from a Suter that seemed unbeatable for anyone: for the Val Gardena, he is the third podium in CdM and the second of the season after the place of honor conquered in the super g of Lake Louise. On a shortened descent due to fog, which at times has affected the test of many big names, the blue ones are also great protagonists with Sofia Goggia and Francesca Marsaglia. The Bergamo certainly closes with some regrets, fourth just three cents from the podium occupied on the third step by Michelle Gisin, 98 cents away from her teammate, while Francesca Marsaglia is fifth.
