Alice Robinson back on track: at work at Copper Mountain, an early return possible?

The 17-year-old New Zealand, who has been in the pits for a month due to a knee problem, should only return to Courchevel on December 17th.

Alice Robinson is back on skis, almost a month after the triumph of Soelden, on the snows of Copper Mountain that are hosting most of the national teams in preparation for the Killington and Lake Louise races. Whether in Vermont, or the following week in Canada, we should not see the star of the white circus, which announced after the opening on the Rettenbach stop, "with expected return in December", to treat the bone bruise suffered in own training before the race on the Austrian glacier. Alice arrived a few hours ago in Colorado, finding among other things fairly difficult weather conditions (for days at Copper Mountain there is no lack of snow), but it was a trip already planned, with her trainer Chris Knight, to start working towards Courchevel, or the third seasonal giant set for Tuesday 17 December, when the New Zealand should return, thus losing only the Killington race. It is not to be excluded, however, that Robinson makes an attempt for the Lake Louise super-g, given that on the program there is the debut in speed disciplines, albeit with caution, or in the same discipline for the Sankt competition Moritz of December 14th.
