Now it's official: the Bulgarian resort adds a race for a speed triptych on one of the most demanding tracks on the women's circuit.

The only thing missing was the official, after the advances of the past few days, and now it has finally arrived.
It was served a few weeks after the cancellation of last December 21-22, but now there is a date and place for the recovery of the women's downhill jumped in Val d''Isère, while the combined that should have been held in Savoy almost certainly not will be played (reducing the specialty appointments to three).
It will be Bansko, therefore, to host what will become the fourth seasonal race for the queen discipline, after two in Lake Louise and the one scheduled for next Saturday in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee; the race will take place on Friday 24 January, the date on which the second test was scheduled, increasing the speed races in the Bulgarian town to three, which on Saturday 25 will stage a second descent (scheduled at 9.45 am Italian, to be made official only the time of the recovery race) and Sunday (9.15 am) the super-g.
The "Marc Girardelli", a track dedicated to the Luxembourg champion who has worked with Bansko for years and is one of the testimonials, together with Alberto Tomba, of a rapidly growing resort, is one of the most demanding for the women's circuit, which will return to Bulgaria in 5 years from the combined and super-g played on 1-2 March 2015 (last year the boys were protagonists).
After Altenmarkt-Zauchensee, the Flachau slalom and the two days in Sestriere with giant and parallel giant, we will go east to begin a period entirely dedicated to fast races.
