Who better than Gianluca Rulfi can analyze the work done so far by the blue stars that are part of the elite World Cup group, training in Ushuaia since last August 28th. The program now includes so much speed on the Argentine snows, until next September 28 when, after a month in Tierra del Fuego, the Goggia-Brignone-Bassino trio will return to Italy. "Everything is working for the best - says Rulfi himself - So far we have managed to ski on the days we set ourselves. We have done seven giant days, a day of slalom, a day of supergiant and another of downhill, now we will start to face a bit of speed, but with the giant we will again insert quality. Here in Ushuaia there is a lot of snow, however the conditions are good and the slopes have been well prepared ". The Italian technical director explains in detail: "Physically the girls are generally fine, clearly you need to have a bit of luck with the weather, here it is a very snowy winter but we managed to do everything, we are confident of continuing in this way adapting to the various situations we encounter day after day. The programming proceeds in blocks of 5-6 days, usually we try to insert heavier exercises in the middle of the week within each block, with a mandatory break after this period. From here to the return to Europe we expect 4-5 days of giant and as many of slalom and speed ". In Argentina they have also begun to "shoot" slalom and polyvalent women, as well as the technical team of the European Cup. Last week of work in the men's field instead for the World Cup sprinters, who will be the first to return to Italy on Monday September 16th like the slalomists. Dense work also for the gigantists, who are taking advantage of the preparation of new tracks dedicated to their specialty: for them the stay in Cerro Castor will end on Friday 21 September.
