Two years ago they wrote together one of the most beautiful pages in the history of Italian skiing, signing the sensational hat-trick on the occasion of the giant of the World Cup finals.
Sofia Goggia, Federica Brignone (who won that race in Colorado) and Marta Bassino concluded the 2018/2019 season together with the last snow tests in Livigno on Saturday. The downhill Olympic champion has dedicated himself, in all the days in the "little Tibet" (where he played two full weeks of work), to the recovery of the best sensations in giant, where he wants to return to the top having lost practically the whole season between the wide doors. A little slalom instead for the Aosta Valley and a surprise return to skiing for the Piedmontese, given that Bassino had announced, ten days before, the "closure of the works" in Pampeago, and then decided to join the companions and the head coach Gianluca Rulfi for a last training step.
A good omen considering already October 26th and in Solden, the first race of the next season of the World Cup on the Rettenbach glacier.
