The path of Vlhova to ascend the throne: after the Stelvio, August in the ski dome in Lithuania

Livio Magoni has prepared a very rich program, but with the right breaks, for the star of Slovakia who is aiming higher and higher.

A path to take her to the top of the world, already not too far away during a past season that saw Petra Vlhova touch the absolute World Cup, which ended in third place and with 189 points behind Federica Brignone. The continued growth of the Slovak '95 class has also gone through the physical problems of the beginning of the year, see the trouble with the tibia that conditioned it until December, and it can certainly be said that Petra is now ready to fight towards the the biggest goal, what Livio Magoni has already achieved by driving Tina Maze. The technician from Bergamo and almost all Italian staff is already working very hard in the spring-summer period: we remember that Vlhova was able to ski already in May, using the home station in Jasna, to then reach his group and begin training at the Stelvio. Almost twenty days in blocks of work, until last June 24, with qualities to put many poles in the legs. Then the return home, to Liptovsky Mikulas, and a program that foresees the return to the Stelvio in the coming weeks, but also a nice session in the Druskininkai ski dome; the Snow Arena in southern Lithuania will welcome the Slovak champion in August, just like in summer 2019, to be able to work specifically on the slalom, thanks to a slope of 450 meters in length that allows you to simulate excellent level heats . The autumn period will be crucial, with the Vlhova team that will always base in Vipiteno and will be able to return to the glacier dividing again between the Stelvio and Hintertux, collaborating (as announced by Magoni in recent weeks) with the staff of Alice Robinson to work in some occasion together.
