Our analysis of the national teams that should be formed: the doubt linked to the Fanchini sisters and the promotion of Cillara Rossi.

It will be a national with ... three points, but with groups of great quality both in technical disciplines and in speed, also including several young people already seen at excellent levels in the season just ended.
After reviewing the men's sector, we analyze the possible composition of the Italian women's teams in view of the 2020/21 season; First of all, the technical staff is expected to confirm practically in full, from Gianluca Rulfi technical director and guide of the elite group, to Giovanni Feltrin responsible for the sprinters, with Paolo Deflorian referent for the giant and Matteo Guadagnini for the slalom.

The excluded would be Karoline Pichler, who has struggled a lot this year and should be part of group B of the fast disciplines (clearly sharing with "her" giant), together with young people on the launch pad like Albano and Zenere su all, even if Vicenza will have to recover after the crusader injury suffered in the second European Cup giant on the snow of Andalo. With them Da Canal, Pizzato, Runggaldier, Zanoner, Giunti, Ghisalberti and probably one of Sosio (in the pits since January 2019 after the Garmisch injury) and Dolmen.
If there are doubts about the position of Elena and Nadia Fanchini, with the Brescian sisters who could announce the withdrawal together after a year that saw them in the pits, respectively for recovery after yet another injury of Elena and for pregnancy of Nadia, who became Alessandro's mother last December, the slalom group A should still count on the veteran Irene Curtoni, although the Valtellinese has yet to untie the knot on the continuation or otherwise of her career.
With her there would be the terrible young women who have done so well, winning in the European Cup and with the first points in the World Cup, in the last competitive year: let's talk about Marta Rossetti, Martina Peterlini, Lara Della Mea and again Roberta Midali, Vivien Insam, Anita Gulli and the possible insertions of Vera Tschurtschenthaler and Petra Unterholzner.
Group B of the technical disciplines proposes Luisa Bertani and Francesca Fanti, already seen in the World Cup and with chances to play the call in some giant, in addition to Lorenzi, Saracco, Viviani, Platino and the promotion of Allemand. Team C is expected Calati, Di Francesco, Haller, Mascherona, Paventa, Tintorri, Welf, Belfrond, Mathiout and Lani, winner of the GPI.
