In Semmering a difficult first heat for the five blues, with the Garda woman out by 9 cents and a good Lorenzi, 33rd in her second race in the CdM. The only good news is Martina Peterlini's competitive return (with a lot of effort).

No detached passes for the 2nd heat, against the four of that truly dream race in Sestriere, even if the final result on the “Kandahar G.A. Agnelli” had been in line with earlier evidence by Killington and Levi. Slalom Italy still has to work a lot, with the young players that coach Roberto Lorenzi has been leading since this season, to get back on top and the fifth round of the season, in Semmering, was a negative confirmation in this sense: the conditions of track of the Panorama were still discreet when, from bib number 35 to 50, the five blue ones went down in pursuit of qualification. Less well Della Mea and Gulli (until the serious mistake that took her out of the game), while today's slalom by Martina Peterlini is essentially injudgable, in the race over a year after breaking the crusader of her left knee and who finished beyond the 45th position, 4"84 behind. From the next two slaloms in Zagreb, when Italy will still have only 5 bibs available (provided that we manage to play the challenges in Croatia on 4-5 January...), the thirty will be able to grow sooner than in Flachau, when the update that will lead the national team to 7 places will start, we should see Tschurtschenthaler again, who had scored points in Sestriere, and the very young Beatrice Sola who, even in the last European Cup slalom in Valle Aurina, had been the most continuous of blue still touching his first podiums in the continental circuit.
