The slalom in Zagreb that opened 2020 in the women's World Cup does not change much in terms of rankings, given that in general Mikaela Shiffrin has however stretched on the first pursuer: from 295 points on Federica Brignone on the eve, to 313 current on the same Petra Vlhova queen today on Sljeme. The Slovakian therefore overtook and detached the Aosta Valley by 62 lengths, applying (also considering the calendar and the state of form) to the role of anti Shiffrin as during the past season, albeit with always important detachments.
And be careful because Katharina Liensberger continues to climb, great protagonist in the last three technical races and now third in the slalom ranking, which sees Shiffrin leading with 120 points on Vlhova and almost 200 on the Austrian. In WCSL, Irene Curtoni maintains the top 15 and therefore the second subgroup, while the points obtained today bring Martina Peterlini in the top 45 positions, close to Brignone and Della Mea, with the possibility that the Flachau race of next January 14 will face actually get closer to the top 30.
