Maria Riesch: "It was not an easy race, I knew I had to attack and push it to the limit and that's what I did. There were some tricky corners in which some girls have had problems but for me it went well and it is a great day. On this track I'm strong but mistakes can always happen to anyone. I always try to do the best I can and when there are errors like today everything is fine but it is not easy. "
TINA WEIRATHER: "Cortina has always been a bit 'different for me. I do not know why but I've always been nervous and felt the pressure here than elsewhere. So I'm super happy to have done two great races this week and there are still two. Today I skied safely but very close to the limit. This is what makes you ski faster. "
Schmidhofer NICOLE: I had a good feeling in the last few days, I felt to be improved. At the start I had hoped that the wind was pushing me to go fast (laughing, ed)!
