Peterlini, the feedback is positive in training on the "Aloch": Martina will return to Semmering

More than a year after the knee injury, the striker of the national slalom team is ready for his season debut, scheduled for December 29 in Austria. In their thirties, Gulli, Tschurtschenthaler, Haller, Viviani, Rossetti and Della Mea also work in Pozza di Fassa.

The return of Martina Peterlini is now defined. FISI itself has confirmed, after the feedback in the last training sessions on the "Aloch" have been more than positive, that the 25-year-old from Trentino is finishing up her preparation to finally return to the race on Thursday 29 December, on the occasion of the fifth slalom of the Coppa del World. After having to miss the abseil of Levi, but also Killington and Sestriere given that the right knee destroyed on 16 December 2021 had been operated on again for a cartilage cleaning operation which had given problems during the autumn preparation, in Austria we will see the ''athlete who, until the day of the crash in Valle Aurina, was the point of reference for a movement which, precisely on the occasion of the last race in Piedmont, with four athletes qualified for the 2nd heat, sent out important signals. With Peterlini, the other athletes of the "European Cup - Cortina 2026" group are also working in Pozza di Fassa these days, namely Celina Haller, Serena Viviani, Lara Della Mea, Marta Rossetti, Vera Tschurtschenthaler and Anita Gulli. At the helm, of course, the responsible coach Roberto Lorenzi, with Giancarlo Bergamelli, Thierry Marguerettaz, Pascal Rizzi and Pietro Taricco. On the other hand, there are four boys from the European Cup group called up by the technical director of the men's national teams, Max Carca, for the meeting scheduled in Val Casies on Thursday 22 and Friday 23 December: they are Manuel Ploner, Gianlorenzo Di Paolo, Matteo Bendotti and Corrado Barbera , who will be followed by technicians Andrea Truddaiu, Stefano triulli and Marco Gullino.
