Here we are, a few more hours and Levi will stage the first women's slalom of the World Cup season, four weeks after the giant opening in Soelden.
First run by American coach Jeff Lackie, second (at 13.15) by Ronan Coste for France; to open the dances on the "Levi Black" (attention to the weather, with the fog danger) will be just the most anticipated woman, that Mikaela Shiffrin, winner three times in Finland and very favored tomorrow.
Pectoral No. 1 delivered directly from ... Santa Claus, then to follow here with the 2 one of the co-favorites, Wendy Holdener, and with the 3 the much discussed Katharina Liensberger, to return after the autumn case related to the materials. First sub-group for Kristin Lysdahl, who catches an excellent 4, then we find Katharina Truppe, with 6 a very dangerous Anna Swenn Larsson and with 7 Petra Vlhova, winner here two years ago and eager to fight with Shiffrin as in the course of the last season, after the disappointment of Soelden.
Christina Ackermann (ex Geiger) and the returning Nina Haver-Loeseth will open the second sub-group, then Canada with St-Germain and Mielzynski, Aline Danioth with the 12 and the only blue in the 30s, Irene Curtoni who caught the 13 and it will be triggered by the first gate by Michelle Gisin (14) and Katharina Gallhuber (15), also highly anticipated on her return.
The other blue: Lara Della Mea with 36, Martina Peterlini 46, Marta Rossetti 57, Roberta Midali 64 and Anita Gulli 65, with the beauty of 73 athletes at the start.
