Vlhova in doubt for the parallel of Lech: the Slovak already thinks about Levi's challenge with Shiffrin

The Women's World Cup really risks starting with ... three races late. It will be the third edition of the appointment in Vorarlberg, actually deserted by many big names also in 2020 and 2021: like Mikaela Shiffrin, who will have to decide whether to show up at the gate, a week before the Levi slalom and then the block of North American races , from Killington to Lake Louise. Same doubt, even if it seems more "yes" than "no", for the first rival of the American in the race for the World Cup: as reported by "sport.aktuality.sk", the Slovak champion from November 3 will be in Levi, to train on the Finnish snow as is now customary in the week before the opening of the specialty, which will again have a double win on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th November. Petra has won the last four races on the Levi Black, signing the one-two both two years ago and in 2021, when in both cases she forced Mikaela Shiffrin to bow. Five total successes for the Olympic champion on her favorite track, so the defense of the slalom cup is the priority for Mauro Pini's pupil, but the temptation to play for 100 points in Lech / Zuers is still tempting, thinking that Vlhova won in Austria in the first edition, that of 2020, and then skipped the appointment of last season. Also because, as mentioned, the competition may not be impossible, so much so that the winner of the parallel 12 months ago, Andreja Slokar, who has already finished his season with an injury in Val Senales, will also be missing.
