The long-awaited snow has arrived, even if in a not so important quantity, and the next two nights will be the decisive ones to set up the almost 400 meters of track of the Flexenarena, the competition theater of the World Cup parallels scheduled for Saturday 12 and Sunday. November 13 in Lech / Zuers.
The next round of the maximum circuit is still in danger, but as expected today the FIS has granted another 48 hours of hope to the Austrian organizers, setting the snow control at 16.00 on Sunday afternoon that will sanction if the CdM will restart directly from Levi, with the women's slalom on November 19-20, or the third edition of the event will be held in Vorarlberg, the only parallels scheduled in the 2022/23 cup calendar.
The problem is that temperatures will then return to being very high from the beginning of next week, around 10 ° even between 1700-1800 meters where the town of Zuers is located. The FIS has already announced that, in the event of cancellation, the parallels will not be recovered during the season, as already happened for the four runs of Zermatt-Cervinia.
