In Santa Caterina everything is ready: after the CdM here are the first two seasonal descents of the European Cup

Monday and Tuesday on the "Deborah Compagnoni" the jet men in action: Italy focuses on Schieder and Zazzi, watch out for the French squadron.

An organization of the highest level capable of bringing the World Cup back to Valtellina, with the two giants recovering those canceled in Val d''Isère and the compliments from all the white circus. Now Santa Caterina Valfurva is ready to host, for the second consecutive year and thanks to the enormous work of the leaders of Cancro Primo Help Onlus, the men's European Cup with the first two runs of the 2020/21 season; after the stages of Gurgl (double giant) and Zinal (super-g, combined and giant), the continental circuit arrives in Italy where it will also remain for the slalom scheduled on the “Aloch” in Pozza di Fassa on Thursday 17 and Friday 18 December. On the “Deborah Compagnoni”, on the other hand, the jet men, protagonists already on the weekend of the two tests, enter the races scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, with an early start at 10.00 on both occasions; the startlist of the first descent tomorrow sees two standard bearers of the French squadron, Perrier and Alphand, to open the dances with the Italian national team that will soon have the two best cards to play. Florian Schieder, bib number 5, and Pietro Zazzi with 9, are in fact the most awaited men of the full-bodied blue expedition with thirty athletes at the starting gate. On the 24th we will see Nicolò Molteni, then at the turn of the thirty here are Simoni, Paini, Talacci and Mittermair, followed by the bib number 36 to 39 by Gatto, Franzoni (who will also throw himself downhill, waiting for the possible debut in CdM between the wide doors after the excellent initial races in the European Cup), Resinelli and Cason. And then again Filippi, Rizzi, Bonardi, Pradal, Ranzi, Dalmasso, Knollseisen, Maddii, Scussel, Canclini, Gurini, Zanella, Alliod, Masneri, Antonioli, Claudani, Giacomelli, D''Amico and Abbruzzese. The last test saw the Austrian Lahnsteiner, already protagonist in Zinal, set the best time with Schieder excellent 4th, while in the first timed test on Saturday he was placed in front of all the Liechtenstein standard bearer, Nico Gauer , preceding the French Schuller, one of the most anticipated men like the Swiss Semyel Bissig, in great condition as demonstrated in giant and in parallel at the World Cup level.
