Aksel Lund Svindal from the gondola'' s fighter plane!

The chronicle of two days spent at full throttle tells the same Aksel Lund Svindal on his blog: from the gondola of Sölden Kitzbühel, by the opening of a store HEAD being boarded a jet fighter.

"After the race in Sölden jumped directly into my Audi and I went on a mission for two days. Prior to Kitzbühel for the official ceremony of the gondola. Each winner in Kitzbuehel gets his name on a gondola cableway leading up to the start of the descent. This time it was my turn. The interesting thing is that the legend Franz Klammer (!) Had never been rewarded, so he has come to have this with me. He's an interesting guy, there was great timing. After the award Franz and I went straight to the opening of a new store in Kitzbühel HEAD. The first HEAD Pro Store all over the world, and we had the honor to inaugurate it. When this was done I got back in the car and headed toward the Red Bull Hangar-7 in Salzburg. Every Monday they do a TV show from there and arrived in Salzburg, just in time to be a guest on the show. '' And a good show but even more impressive is the location. '' All of what is inside a hangar made of glass'' s Salzburg airport. And'' full of F1 cars, bikes, helicopters and all kinds of aircraft. All operating, which I got to try the next day. I've always wanted to make a real flight in a jet, a fighter jet. So when the Red Bull told me this spring that I could choose any means and have a ride, then I had no doubts. I know that Red Bull has a couple of Alpha Jet and that was without a doubt my choice. But when the clouds came and it started to rain Monday night we feared a bit 'all that the flight would be canceled. But the weather has cleared up enough to make an awesome flight in the area and through the mountains around Salzburg. Lots of fun! The view from the glass of a jet's disease. You have the feeling of being so close to nature, even if you are bypassing. I would say that the flight was as beautiful as exciting. '' The only time I was nervous before the flight, when I was shown as a loose, open the window and jump out with my parachute if necessary. '' It seemed to me a bit dramatic. Towards the end of the flight the pilot (Philip) decided to show me a couple of moves that you can do during an aerial combat. I was very close to getting a review of my breakfast that morning. But I kept it in and I have not had to use my parachute. Good thing! "
