Alexis Pinturault has a very clear program, on the wave of the new trend that his great rivals Marcel Hirscher and Henrik Kristoffersen have implemented, quite successfully, in recent years.
Fewer days on the track but with so much quality, a private team to follow him and maximum concentration on the work dedicated to the technical disciplines. "I realized that my training sessions were too distracting, things have been going better for some time," explained the combined champion some time ago, which ended the last season in a big way by winning the Soldeu finals giant.
Alexis then continued until late spring with ski tests, and then wait for the first days of August to start again; the 28-year-old from Moutiers is continuing with his gym and athletics in his Annecy, enjoying the splendid scenery of the Haute Savoie with his wife Romane and his inseparable dog, then moving steadily over the autumn and winter periods in Austria.
The program now includes a first part of skiing preparation on the Swiss glaciers, between Zermatt and Saas Fee, but above all the three-week trip to Argentina: Pinturault will arrive in Ushuaia on September 14th to stay until October 1st, less than a month from the first of Solden, but will train mainly together with the companions of the national giant, which will arrive four days earlier, and the slalomist colleagues with Noel and members arriving on September 16, to stay in the South American area until October 6th.
