If Manfred Moelgg returned to skis for the first time last July 20, and after a fortnight he returned to a group to train at the Stelvio with the team of slalomgigantisti, during this week, on the glacier between Alto Adige and Valtellina not Simon Maurberger went up again.
No problem for the 25-year-old from Valle Aurina, indeed the recovery from the injury of the crusader, which took place a month later than that of the captain of the men's Italsci, proceeds smoothly with a lot of athletic work and a lot of bicycle for "Maubi", eager to return since the opening in Soelden, practically eight months after that mocking injury remedied in the parallel giant in Chamonix on February 9th.
Of course, the one week advance of the inaugural giant of the next World Cup, set for October 18 instead of 25, does not help the blue slalomgiant, who should however have time to prepare on the alpine glaciers with just under two months available, thinking then that there will be four weeks to get to the second race, the parallel of Lech-Zuers, and five towards the first slalom, on November 22nd in Levi.
