There is an ok for the men's races in Wengen: appointment on the Lauberhorn from 17 to 19 January

A positive result for today's FIS snow check in the legendary Swiss resort which, from Wednesday 8, will already host the tests of the two descents of the European Cup.

After Adelboden, which will host giant tradition and slalom on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January, the men's World Cup will face the second consecutive Swiss weekend with the legendary Wengen event. On the Lauberhorn everything is confirmed for the races scheduled from 17 to 19 January, with today's FIS snow check that gave a positive result: good snowfall and go, provided that the weather does not force the organizers to any changes to the program as already happened in the past, with the Alpine combined on Friday 17, the second of the season after Bormio and the only one with descent heats (on the shortened Lauberhorn track and starting just above the Hundschopf), scheduled at 10.30 and followed at 14.00 from the slalom. Saturday 18, starting from 12.30, the longest descent of the white circus, then Sunday the grand finale with the slalom (heats at 10.15 and 13.15). However, the weekend in the Bernese Oberland will start as early as Tuesday 14 with the first of the three tests scheduled, but even before that there will be the European Cup event. From Wednesday 8 January, the first race in view of the two descents of the continental circuit (which last year saw Mattia Casse triumph), scheduled for Friday 10 and Saturday 11.
