Filip Zubcic and Istok Rodes affected by Coronavirus: the return on the snow of the Croats postponed

The gigantist, who won for the first time in CdM last season, had a fever and then tested positive. Take the isolation.

The 2020/21 season of Filip Zubcic and Istok Rodes certainly does not start in an ideal way. In fact, the two reference skiers of the Croatian team tested positive for Coronavirus and had to interrupt a preparation that began in June with the first work on the track on the Austrian glaciers of Moelltaler and Hintertux, to then resume with the athletic part. Just a few days ago in Delnice, where they were together, Zubcic (who exploded in the 2019/2020 vintage with the first podiums in the World Cup and Yuzawa Naeba's success in the giant) suffered from feverish symptoms and the subsequent test removed all doubt, as well as for Rodes, a '96 class slalomist with two successes in the European Cup. For both, therefore, the period of isolation begins, with fourteen days of quarantine that will prevent them from moving to Saas-Fee, where from the weekend of August 15th he would have had to leave again with training on the Swiss glacier.
