Giant of Beaver Creek, danger of disqualification for Stefan Luitz?

The skionline.ch website reported that the German Stefan Luitz could lose the victory in the men's World Cup giant of Beaver Creek in favor of Marcel Hirscher who would thus earn his 60th World Cup victory.

An anonymous protest immediately after the end of the competition would be forwarded to the FIS explaining that the German staff would provide its athletes with oxygen bottles before departure (Beaver Creek is over 3000 meters above sea level and the oxygen content in the air is lower ), thus increasing their performance. According to those who protested, this would be in full violation of the rules of the FIS, which, however, does not explicitly prohibit the use of oxygen in World Cup races, so in this case the German federsci would get away with only a warning. But in the meantime, WADA is investigating what happened and so on Luitz also weighs the cleaver of the possible disqualification for doping.
