We are talking about the Austrian slalomists, a squadron led by the winner of the specialty World Cup, Marco Schwarz, and also composed by the vice world champion Adrian Pertl, by a Manuel Feller finally unlocked in CdM last season and by Michael Matt and Fabio Gstrein. The quintet of coach Marko Pfeifer found himself in recent days on the shores of Lake Weissensee, in Carinthia, with Schwarz himself who spoke of an experience "fun and to be repeated, certainly these will not be the last dives of my life. ". For Manuel Feller, “underwater you have to be calm and relaxed, and at that point you can also enjoy it. I was able to put the instructors' advice into practice, it was definitely interesting ”. Vincent Kriechmayr, twice gold medalist at the last World Championships in Cortina with titles in the speed between downhill and super-g, has instead received a nice recognition in the heart of his region, Lower Austria. In Hinterstoder, often a World Cup stage in the season finale, the 29-year-old from the Wunderteam received a gondola lift as a gift to celebrate the triumphs of an unforgettable year.
