The first month of skiing for Kristoffersen: so much giant and now the first slalom poles in Saas-Fee

The Norwegian is making a fixed base on the Swiss glacier, where he began his preparation on 10 August.

A month of skiing divided into various blocks, but always in the same location that for some years now has chosen as a reference point for summer work on the snow. Henrik Kristoffersen returned from last week to Saas-Fee, where he started skiing again on August 10th with the now traditional timing of the last few years, despite the lockdown that prevented him from carrying out the spring tests and also that ankle injury suffered in June which forced him to lose only a couple of weeks of dry preparation. First with a lot of exercise in the free field, then a large amount of training in the giant and, just from last weekend, as the Norwegian champion himself explained on social media, finally putting back the slalom skis six months after the last training between the narrow poles, which took place on 10 March (two days before the final interruption of the World Cup). No time trial comparisons with rivals, even if in Saas-Fee (even more so this year without the possibility of moving overseas) in recent weeks there are many protagonists of the white circus. And Soelden is now about forty days away ...
