Today there was no match in the second round of the Bormio triptych, for a consecutive trio in the discipline that brings the 29-year-old champion Norge to 10 World Cup successes, but also close to a record to equal. Only Hermann Maier (twice) and Aksel Lund Svindal (once, spanning two seasons) have won four super-gs in series, but the big boy from Baerum could do even better by collecting them in the same calendar year and even in the ' span of only 27 days (as recalled by colleague Massimiliano Ambesi).

At Wunderteam there is satisfaction for the double podium brought home, also considering the margin with which Kilde triumphed. In particular, Raphael Haaser gave himself the best result of his career, second with a true masterpiece to precede the world champion Kriechmayr by just over a tenth. “Today I did everything very well, I am very happy with this placement which pays off the hard work of the last few years. I still want to work at the same level, I can't be satisfied ”.
