It is already time for Saalbach-Hinterglemm, the venue for the recovery of the fast races that should have been held on the Chinese snow of Yanqing.
On Thursday and Friday, in the Austrian area, a men's downhill and super-g will be staged, therefore, as happened five years ago when Matthias Mayer signed a great brace, on a decidedly tough track and which should give two spectacular races. It will start already on Tuesday with the first of the two tests scheduled and eight blues at the starting gate: it will be the first time without Peter Fill, who has left the competition with the last descent held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
There will be Christof Innerhofer, who will then make the usual assessment of whether or not to compete, given that the two fifteenth places obtained between the super-g of Kitzbuehel and the descent of Garmisch do not help too much in terms of WCSL, given that the status of injured would expire in the third race played.
In addition to the 35 year old from Gais, we will see Mattia Casse, Emanuele Buzzi, Matteo Marsaglia, Guglielmo Bosca, Davide Cazzaniga, Florian Schieder and Alexander Prast on the track.
