If the downhill version of the Streif is for a select few, so much so that only the change in weather conditions, as happened in part today, can change the values on the pitch, the super-g of Kitzbuehel opens up to a thousand possible scenarios.
All the more so if, in a race like the one rescheduled tomorrow (originally it should have been run today, before the second downhill was canceled on Saturday), the strongest specialists in the lot are missing. The fourth specialty of the season, in fact, will not see the winner (or rather, dominator) of the last super-g played in Bormio, Ryan Cochran-Siegle injured on Friday in the first descent on the Streif, at the starting gate, but also the first two of the classification of the discipline, namely Mauro Caviezel and Aleksander Aamodt Kilde seriously injured in training in the previous days.

Of course, "Domme" has so far found himself downhill and not yet in the other fast discipline, but here he won in super-g in 2015 and even in 2019 he almost triumphed, even if a lot will depend on the "breath" of the track. Six blues at the start: we will see Buzzi just before Paris, with number 16, then with high bibs Schieder (41), today splendid 14th, Marsaglia (44) and Cazzaniga with 45.
