The weather is ok, even if the low clouds could affect the visibility as happened yesterday during the second descent. Kitzbuehel is ready for the fourth super-g of the season, closing of the triptych after Beat Feuz's two victories over the Streif. Today, however, the favorites are others, starting with Matthias Mayer (winner of the Kitz super-g in 2017) who could be the spotlight of the race; the Austrian, already 2nd and 3rd in the downhill between Friday and Sunday, will start with bib number 9 but the prediction is really complicated, also because there will not be the first two of the specialty ranking (Caviezel and Kilde) and the Last winner of an SG in the cup, the other luxury injured Ryan Cochran-Siegle.

As in the downhill, 6 blues are expected at the start. He will start immediately with number 2, certainly not the best in super-g, a Christof Innerhofer back from the great 4th place downhill and already twice on the podium in this discipline on the Streifalm (in 2017 he was 2nd behind Matthias Mayer).
