The World Cup rankings after the two Flachau slaloms: Schwarz and Feller lead the specialty rankings, Kristoffersen and Noel are far away. Now Kitzbuehel, but without Kilde (and with the heavy points made by the French also in slalom) everything seems already written.

A World Cup in the hands of Alexis Pinturault? The impression is exactly that, even if we are only halfway through a calendar that will now offer three fast races in sequence in Kitzbuehel, then three slaloms and another double for the jet men in Garmisch, before the championships of the world of Cortina.
With Aleksander Aamodt Kilde out due to injury, in practice the margin of the Frenchman on the first rival, Marco Odermatt, is 274 points, over 300 instead on a Marco Schwarz who at this point is in full race for the final podium (although he has not parallel and combined, specialties where the Carinthian could have done very well).
At the level of the slalom cup, the 25-year-old Austrian seems to be the most solid of the lot: 5 podiums in 6 races and a red bib regained today after the second slalom in Flachau, with the Wunderteam constantly back in front between the narrow posts, given that Manuel Feller something is still wrong, it is true, but he has reached a very high level and is in full swing for the crystal ball in the discipline, at -65 from his teammate and ahead of Foss-Solevaag, winner today, and Strasser who instead slipped one heavy zero after three big hits.
Far away, however, both Kristoffersen and Noel, even in a sensational way Daniel Yule practically already cut off (5 slalom remain on the calendar), or the three rulers of the past season.
In the slalom WCSL, paradoxically, the crash in the 2nd heat, saved to finish in 17th position, still brings Manuel Feller into the first sub-group, thanks to Strasser's "zero" and to the crisis of Yule himself, who still remains in seventh position just ahead of the German. On the other hand, Alex Vinatzer still falls in the second sub-group (where Gstrein enters, now 5th and constantly growing), who does not have much margin to defend on the 16th position, now on the border of the top 30 instead Maurberger, just ahead of Gross.
