Season over for Riccardo Tonetti

Riccardo Tonetti obtained a lacerated-contused wound in his right hand with tendon and vascular-nerve injuries.

The 29 year old from Bolzano has already been operated at the Humanitas clinic in Milan in the hand surgery department. Returning to the race immediately is too risky so Tonetti, in agreement with the federal technical staff, has decided to close the competition season early to allow the wound to heal completely.
