Val Gardena will celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the 1970 world championships, with a dedicated evening on December 20th, but above all will propose super-g and thrilling downhill on the "Saslong", after the fast tests of Lake Louise and Beaver Creek.

The 37-year-old from Castelrotto tested the Saslong on Wednesday and Thursday last, along with Paris, Buzzi, Casse, Cazzaniga and the returning Christof Innerhofer: it will start on Wednesday with the first of the two races scheduled towards the descent on Saturday 21st (11.45 am), 24 hours in advance from the super-g on Friday 20.
