A morning in Val Gardena at the top, for the third downhill of the men's World Cup which, from 12.00, will see the jet men whizzing down a Saslong which hosts the first of three consecutive races.
Ideal weather for an appointment that will be inaugurated by Otmar Striedinger, with lots of blue already at the start given that Innerhofer will have the number 4 and Paris the 6, to look for the first weight result after the disappointments of Lake Louise and Beaver Creek. Immediately after the champion from Val d'Ultimo, the red bib Aleksander Aamodt Kilde will come out of the gate with number 7, followed by Mayer and Feuz, then by Odermatt with number 12.
But be careful, the forecast is very open, even to the US team, with last year's winner, Bryce Bennett, who will precede Matteo Marsaglia, third blue with number 18.

Mattia Casse will start with number 31, second time in the only race disputed (he who did very well in the Val Gardena descent a year ago), then with number 34 and 35 here is the Bosca-Molteni duo, finally Simoni's return to the CdM , with bib number 52, Schieder with number 55 and Franzoni at the gate with number 61.
