A success, that of the first auction launched by the Cortina 2021 Foundation with the trophies that would have been up for grabs in the 2020 World Cup finals.
The fundraising initiative promoted to support the Belluno-AULSS 1 Dolomiti Hospital will be followed up, given that the organizing committee of the world championships next year has decided to support the main provincial health structure again, with a second auction. beneficial to guarantee a further economic contribution in the fight against Coronavirus.
Gorgeous memorabilia at stake, which belonged to many athletes from the present and past from Ampezzo, as well as to the Ambassadors of the 2021 World Championships, namely Sofia Goggia and Kristian Ghedina. The Prosecco DOC Consortium, Official Partner of Cortina 2021, has decided to contribute with the 3 liter Jeroboam bottles produced in limited edition and dedicated to the podiums of the CdM finals then canceled, while Nordica supplies the Dobermann Spitfire 72 RB Cortina ski 2021 Limited Edition, produced in only 100 pieces available.
The auction will start already today, Friday 10 April, to end on Wednesday 22: it is available on the CharityStars digital platform and is in continuity with the first charity auction organized by the Cortina 2021 Foundation which allowed to collect almost 12 thousand euros.
