Everyone (or almost everyone) on track for a week on the Swiss glaciers.
The Azzurri of the World Cup groups resume their summer preparation at full speed, towards an autumn marked by the early start of the 2020/21 season, with the highly anticipated (never like this year) Soelden giants on 17-18 October.
From today until 9 September, the blue slalomists poker (Irene Curtoni, Lara Della Mea, Martina Peterlini and Marta Rossetti) is preparing on the snows of Saas-Fee, where the girls of the elite group will arrive in the next few hours , with Sofia Goggia and Federica Brignone who completed the evaluation tests in the morning at the Mapei center in Olgiate Olona (who awaits Marta Bassino on Friday). Also from the 3rd to the 9th of the month, appointment for the multipurpose group led by Giovanni Feltrin in Zermatt: on the track there are Elena Curtoni, Francesca Marsaglia, Nicol and Nadia Delago as well as Verena Gasslitter.
Same days of work, in the shadow of the Matterhorn, for the jet men with the great return to the group of Dominik Paris, who will begin with caution after the first approach last Tuesday at the Stelvio; in addition to the “usual” Innerhofer, Marsaglia, Buzzi, Casse and Prast, Riccardo Tonetti is added for the occasion. The slalomgigantists are waiting, after having given up on the last days of training in Saas-Fee due to bad weather, while Simon Maurberger has resumed individually in Hintertux, finally returning to the track almost seven months after his injury in Chamonix.
