A surprise for many youngsters who grew up in the myth of their most illustrious countryman, but obviously they experienced the deeds of the other immense champion who emerged from the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
On the day when Abetone is celebrating 100 years since the birth of Zeno Colò, Alberto Tomba appeared to pay homage to the history of the Pistoia champion. And the young people of the Abetone Ski Club did not miss the opportunity to meet the Bolognese ace, under the scorching sun that is kissing the town on the border between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, where the celebrations will continue until the evening.
