The blue gigantists prepare Beaver Creek in Val Senales

The World Cup winners will prepare the Beaver Creek giant in Val Senales on Sunday 2 December, which will be the first season after the cancellation of the one in SÃ¶lden.

From tomorrow they will train until Friday on the South Tyrolean glacier Giovanni Borsotti, Giulio Bosca, Luca De Aliprandini, Alex Hofer and Roberto Nani, who will join them on Tuesday Riccardo Tonetti. The six athletes will be followed by the sector manager Alessandro Serra and by the technicians Ruggero Muzzarelli and Devid Salvadori. With this group of the World Cup will also train that of the technical races of the European Cup, which will remain however in Val Senales only until Wednesday. There will be Andrea Ballerin, Hans Vaccari and Hannes Zingerle will train under the guidance of coach Roberto Saracco, they will join Giuliano Razzoli. Absent Giordano Ronci, who left the previous meeting in advance, and Alex Zingerle. The first Cup slalom on the calendar is scheduled for Thursday 29 November in Levi. In Val Senales there will also be Vivien Insam and Karoline Pichler to continue their preparation to return gradually in shape after serious injuries suffered. The team mates will go to Levi to participate in the first slalom of the World Cup season on Saturday 17, while the two South Tyrol will be in the glacier together with the coach Paolo Deflorian from tomorrow to Friday. The goal for both is to return to the best possible condition: Karo has not competed for over two and a half years when he participated in the giant SÃ¶lden, where he failed to finish the first heat, while Vivien competed the last time on 9 March 2018 in the European Cup giant of La Molina before the breaking of the crusader and the meniscus of the left knee.
