Confirmed (for now) the youth festival for children and students of alpine skiing, on the Valle d'Aosta snow from 11 to 13 December.

These are months of uncertainty for everyone, even for the men of the Aosta ski club who have been organizing the Fosson Memorial for a decade. The publication of the protocol and the Fisi communication that gave the green light to the resumption of competitions, with the organizational machine of new work to set up the event, well aware that everything is constantly evolving and that there are still no certainties.
The youth event for teams, which opens the season for children and students of alpine skiing, is scheduled in Pila from 11 to 13 December, a week earlier than in recent years, but above all included in the calendar at the weekend to emasculate to come into conflict with school curricula already in the balance for the pandemic. At the moment the three days of competition are structured with the same program as in previous years, pending developments. It will undoubtedly be a particular edition; the collaboration of all those present will be required to respect the rules of the Dpcm and the rules of the Fisi protocol. The Fosson Memorial in Pila wants to be the restart event for these categories which have not competed since March and which in a few days saw the cancellation of the Italian Championships and the finals of Pinocchio on Ski.
The best students and boys of Italy last season had only two national matches: the Memorial Fosson and the Alpe Cimbra Cup, formerly the Topolino Trophy. There is no reduction in numbers at this stage. Being a team competition, the organizing committee will give absolute priority to the companies that will line up complete teams or just under the maximum number of 12 competitors (3 per category). A rule that was already being studied before the Covid-19 pandemic and which will be applied all the more in this delicate moment. Registration opened in the summer and to date 53 teams have pre-registered. There will be time until 5 November to send the request for participation (available on the memorialfosson.com website), immediately afterwards the organization will communicate the admitted formations.
