Mikaela Shiffrin skips Crans-Montana. Henrik Kristoffersen in super-G in Bansko

Usual recharging break for Mikaela Shiffrin who will not be on track next weekend in the World Cup races in Crans-Montana.

In the Swiss resort of the Canton of Valais a Sunday will be held on Sunday and a female match that the US, winner of the Stockholm City Event yesterday, has decided not to dispute, while it is still unclear, although it seems unlikely that there will be, if the the next weekend will take place in Russia at Rosa Khutor, Olympic snows in Sochi, where there will be a descent and a super-G. Meanwhile, Mikaela in a tweet as well as announcing her absence had a thought for the victims of the avalanche that hit Crans-Montana in the last hours: "My prayers and my love go to those who have been hit by the avalanche in Crans- Montana, I can not even imagine the pain these families are feeling. It is not in my plans to compete in this World Cup weekend but I will be there with the soul and the thought turned to you ". In the men's field Henrik Kristoffersen, once again disappointing in yesterday's parallel, has announced lapidarily on Instagram that will be on track at Bansko in the super-G on Saturday (and then of course in the next day's giant), which will mark his absolute debut in a race World Cup fast: "Not a great night in Stockholm but now the super-G in Bansko".
