The technical director of the Wunderteam teams spoke to the "Kronen Zeitung" after the case of positivity that emerged in recent days.

Andreas Puelacher is sure: the protocol adopted by the Austrian federsci works and the "anti Covid-19" training can continue.
This is what the OESV manager said to Alex Hofstetter, confirming that the athlete who tested positive for Coronavirus (a sprinter whose name will not be revealed for privacy reasons) should have trained in the next few days to Soelden with teammates, but he has not infected other team members already working on the snow and has obviously been quarantined.
"We have moved in the best way, the emergency plan works and we will continue in this way", Puelacher's words, before it was confirmed that it is unlikely that the athlete was infected in a training center in Salzburg , since all members tested in that location tested negative.
Also during the weekend, the men's teams from Austria will work between Soelden and Kaunertal, to make the most of the optimal conditions of the two glaciers. With the monitoring of all the people involved, including athletes and staff, and the certainty in the current state of things that there are no other positivity in the various work groups.
