The Rai Board of Directors, which met yesterday at the Viale Mazzini headquarters, updated on the general situation of the company and reassured about the continuation of important channels such as sports and Rai Storia.
The managing director Fabrizio Salini, in fact, stated that "the hypotheses relating to the closures or mergers of the Rai Storia channel and the Rai Sport channel are attributable to simulations and scenarios aimed at addressing the economic situation, but there is no will to close or merge the aforementioned channels, confirming the commitment to further strengthen Rai's cultural offer at a particularly difficult time for the country ”.
