A good work weekend before the ... storm. The Italian national teams were able to have good training days to better prepare for the opening of the World Cup, scheduled for 17-18 October on Rettenbach in Soelden.
The men found ideal conditions in Val Senales, with Leo Gurschler faced by De Aliprandini and his companions, but also by many other athletes, with French and American protagonists, as well as Marco Schwarz and Alice Robinson. Rally concluded yesterday for Roberto Lorenzi's men after four optimal days.
Only a couple of training days, but very productive, for the women's group in Hintertux: on the Austrian glacier, Brignone, Goggia and Bassino (with them there were also Melesi, Pirovano and Della Mea, who will compete on the Rettenbach as well as Bertani, Cillara Rossi and Ghisalberti) faced various quality heats between the wide doors (with a thrill for the World Cup holder, as she "revealed" through social media), while today the storm forecast at high altitude.
