Coppa Italia roller skis: double for Tanel (who takes the Italian flag), Sordello and Bolzan sign the women's competitions

Between Castel Roganzuolo and Valdobbiadene, double appointment with the national circuit and assignment of the first Italian specialty titles. All the results.

In Castel Roganzuolo (Treviso), there were really ideal conditions for the third round of the Cascina Bianca Italian Cup of roller skis, which awarded the first Italian titles of the summer season. The best Italian athletes battled it out on the tried and tested Venetian street circuit, in a very high level event, which will be used for the call-ups in the debut stage of CdM next week in Telemark, Norway. Excellent performance by Matteo Tanel, who triumphed among the Seniors. The rider of the Robinson Ski Team covered the 12 kilometers of the individual in free technique with a time of 19''58 ”8, thus also putting the gold medal of the Italian champion around his neck. Tanel preceded Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero (20''18 ") and Jacopo Giardina (20''47" 1), both from Valdobbiadene, at the finish line. After having imposed herself in the mass start skating last week in Sgonico, Elisa Sordello repeated the test in the individual on Saturday; the athlete from the Maritime Alps dominated the race, crossing the finish line in 24''46 ”8, thus also winning the tricolor Senior title. Place of honor for Anna Maria Ghiddi of the Olimpic Lama (25''13 "2), who preceded the home athlete, Lisa Bolzan (25''25" 6). The youth categories are also competing in the Venetian town. Among the students, victory for Alessandro Tazzioli of the Olimpic Lama (16''28 "4), while the female Vanessa Cagnati of Val Biois (16''04" 4) won. Gold medal for Daniel Menegaldo dell''Orsago (13''52 ") among the boys, with Aurora Invernizzi of Nordik Ski Valsassina (11''52") who climbed the top step of the podium in the pink race. Double for Montebelluna among the Cuccioli, with Alessandro Gustavo Rossi (7''30 "4) who won the men's and Maddalena Pavan (6''46”) the women's. Finally, among the Baby, victory for Ian Tretiach del Mladina (11''13 "9), while Ester Facchetti dell''Orsago (9''27") triumphed for women. On Sunday, however, the Cascina Bianca Italian Cup moved to Valdobbiadene for the sprint in free technique, valid as the fourth round of the national circuit. The event, organized by the Valdobbiadene Ski club, again saw Matteo Tanel raise the colors of the Robinson Ski Team, with the ''93 Trentino class winning the senior / young race, ahead of Tommaso Dellagiacoma (Sottozero Nordic Team) and Michele Valerio (Us Carisolo). In the final also Riccardo Masiero, however, remained off the podium. Bad day for Emanuele Becchis, who had to stop in the semifinals. Among the senior / young women, victory for Lisa Bolzan (Sci club Orsago), in front of Anna Maria Ghiddi (Olimpic Lama) and Elisa Sordello (Sc Alpi Marittime). Off the podium Laura Mortagna, fourth. Among the Children, the male ranking saw the Levico athlete, Davide Piccinini excel, preceding Alezzandro Tazzioli of the Olimpic Lama and Lenart Antonic of the Asd Mladina. Marta Invernizzi (Nordik Ski Valsassina) was the best of the female children, ahead of Vanessa Cagnati (Val Biois) and Aurora Invernizzi, also from Valsassina. Victory for Alessandro Rossi of Montebelluna among the very young, while in the same female category the success went to Maddalena Pavan, also from Montebelluna.
