At the Coni headquarters in Trento the event was officially presented, called the "Rollerski Trentino Mini Tour", which will put an end to the 2019 roller-ski world cup.
Three locations and four stops, between Trento, Monte Bondone and Val di Fiemme, with a start dedicated to the up hill race on the Bondone climb and a great Fiemmese closure on the Cermis final climb, where the crystal balls will be assigned which, in the male field, see the Bolzano-born Matteo Tanel - guest of honor at the presentation conference together with the other blue Alessio Berlanda - in full fight for the final success.
In the guise of organizers, two tried and tested staff, that of Asd Charly Gaul Internazionale and of the Apt of Trento, Monte Bondone, Valle dei Laghi on one side and that of Fiemme Ski World Cup on the other, already projected towards the Olympic experience of 2026. The Mini Tour will be opened Thursday 12 September from the individual up hill in classic technique of Monte Bondone, starting at 10 from Vaneze for the male seniors, who will compete on a 5 km course with arrival in Vason, also theater of goal of the senior women's and junior men's and women's competitions. For these three categories the start will be given at 10.45 from Norge, with 2.5 km to go.
The second day, Friday the 13th, will be dedicated to the show, with the ko sprint proposed on the tested straight of Via Santa Croce, in the heart of the city of Trento. At 3pm there will be qualifying, while the final batteries will start at 4.15pm; to make the prologue to the two-day international there will be a double date of the Italian Cup and the Italian championship, with the city sprint in Trento on Saturday 31st August (qualifying at 16 and final batteries from 17) and an uphill race in classical technique on mythical ascent of Monte Bondone on Sunday 1 September, also valid for the assignment of the tricolor titles of the specialty.
The grand finale, like twelve months ago, will be served in Val di Fiemme: Saturday, September 14, starting at 15, there will be a free mass start of 15 km for seniors and 10 km for seniors women and for juniors (both male and female), scheduled in the heart of Ziano di Fiemme, where the spectacular final challenge will also start. Sunday 15, in fact, will be the turn of the pursuits in classic technique (13 km for juniors and senior women and 15 km for senior males). The departures, from 9 to 9.20, will therefore be at intervals, with the final climb of the Cermis called to crown the winners of the day and the new kings and queen of the roller ski World Cup.
On the sidelines of the presentation of the competitions, the vice president of Fisi, Angelo Dalpez, was also praised. "I like the enthusiasm I see in the organizers, a wonderful union of two realities that have always shown great competence," said Dalpez, who was echoed by the interventions of the councilor of the Trentino Committee of Coni Massimo Eccel, of the Nordic area referent of the Trentino Committee of Fisi Marco Zoller and of the councilor of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Pietro De Godenz.
In addition to excellence in organizational terms, the Italy of the roller-ski can also field that of its athletes, headed by the coach Michel Rainer. Matteo Tanel is currently third in the Cup standings, just 5 points behind the leading pair consisting of the Norwegian Ragnar Bragvin Andresen and the Swedish Victor Gustafsson. "Being able to play the World Cup on the roads at home is wonderful," Tanel said, who won gold in the sprint team and silver in the mass start at the recent roller world championships. .
