A day of pouring rain closed the weekend of the Roller Ski World Cup in Madona.
In Latvia there was no shortage of satisfactions for Italy, since after the Sprint of Emanuele Becchis, Matteo Tanel took care of bringing the blue colors to the podium; on Saturday the triumph in the mass start, yesterday the third place in the 15 km classic against the time trial. The women's 7.5 km race offered an exciting long-distance confrontation between Prochazkova and Schuetzova, with the Slovakian able to impose herself on the Czech for just one second; third place for the Russian Rogozina, good at keeping behind the Swedish Lockner, and sixth place for Elisa Sordello, who finished at 1 '' 13 "confirming herself for the whole weekend at the highest levels.
