The race director Walter Hofer male jumping announced that the FIS has formally forwarded to the IOC request to enter the team trials mixed jump in the Olympic program from Pyeong Chang, 2018.

The same Hofer pointed out that at present there is the'' intention to propose evidence to women's teams in the maximum circuit (despite the competition format is now played for several years in the context of the World Junior Championships, ed.)
The mixed team event (two men and two women) made his World Championship debut in Fiemme 2013, and if it should be included in the program of Pyeong Chang in 2018 would lead to five Olympic medals awarded by the special jump:
1 - LH Individual Male (Debut: Chamonix 1924) 2 - NH Individual Male (Debut: Innsbruck 1964) 3 - Team Event Male (Debut: Calgary 1988) 4 - NH Individual Female (Debut: 2014 Sochi) 5 - Mixed Team Event ( Debut Pyeong Chang 2018?)
