The newspaper Tageszeitung Österreich has anticipated what should be the moves of the Austrian Federation regarding the team jump. Almost certainly after a decade of success Alexander Pointner leave the role of head coach.

The quarantatreenne should be promoted to sports director of the sectors jumping and Nordic combined taking the place of Ernst Vettori, who is resigned after four seasons.
The successor of Pointner should be chosen shortly. In recent days there were widespread rumors relating to this a sensational return home by Werner Schuster or Alexander Stöckl, respectively, head coach of Germany and Norway.
Indeed the name most hot to inherit the place of Pointer would be to Andreas Felder, one of the most successful jumpers in history (over 25 victories in the World Cup), for many years now inserted into the technical staff of the Austrian Nordic combined.
