The FIS Congress in Barcelona has adopted and further developed the regulatory changes proposed in April by the Subcommittee on special jump. The novelty more is important the revolution in the format of the races flight.

The concept is the same advanced by the subcommittee, but Congress has approved a regulation different (and more bizarre) than the original proposal.
Will be enrolled in flight tests only to athletes who have achieved at least one point of the World Cup (not specified whether in winter'' current or career, but probably we talk about the current season).
There will always be 10 pre-qualified, but are obliged to take part because it'' s event the result of the classification will determine seeding of the groups in the first series (still not given to know in what way) and especially the score in qualifying will be taken into account for the final of the competition.
In other words the so-called "qualification" become de facto a real first jump of the competition.
The first series will take part in 40, divided into 4 groups of 10 athletes each. Each group will present separately at the start, then jump to get the athletes to a group, and those of the next. Gain access to the'' final series 6 jumpers with the most points high. Rating determined by the sum of the jump race and the Championship.
The series will be decisive 24 men who will leave the points obtained between qualifying and the first jump. The final standings of the race will be determined by the sum of the scores of the 3 jumps (qualifying, first series, decisive).
