Men's Jump - Summer Grand Prix 2017

This is the third individual competition for the Summer Grand Prix 2017. The result was similar to that of the first two races, or Dawid Kubacki came out triumphant.

The Polish confirmed the excellent state of form, setting in both runs and closing with 8.2 lengths on the second ranked. This furrow was excavated especially during the first race segment, where the athlete of Zakopane reached 133.5m and was awarded by judges with very good ratings. On the third step of the podium they rose equally to Denis Kornilov and Roman Koudelka. The Russian has unveiled a first capital hand, landing at 130.5 and achieving the third score. In the second part of the race he defended himself from the Czech rebound, which he finally patted.
Fifth Place for Stephan Leyhe, author of the best fit in the final segment, where he has found wind less unfavorable than his rivals. Sixth Piotr Zyla, the creator of a great return from the 15th position in the middle of the race. The Polish overtaken by a few tenths Robert Johansson 7th and Manuel Fettner 8th.
Poland is surely the best country to be able to place four athletes in the top 10. In fact, in addition to the aforementioned, Stefan Hula finished 9th. Stafan Kraft closed the top 10, confirming the impression already given to Hinterzarten that he has not yet reached the maximum of his potential.
Superb performance for the team, with Davide Bresadola 12th and Sebastian Colloredo 14th. Trentino has made the most of the favorable conditions in the first part of the race, reaching 131.5m, and then reconfigured into the decisive one. The Friulian, 26th in the middle of the race, but with a great second jump has succeeded in reassigning 12 positions. Great result also in the optics World Ranking List, where at present both athletes are in the top 55 positions. If after the double Hakuba appointment the Azzurri confirm this placement, Italy will be able to deploy four athletes starting from the September competitions.
The best Slovene in the Alpine season was surprisingly the nineteen-year-old Ziga Jelar 13 °. In fact, Anze Lanisek, 16th, did not confirm the result of the qualification of the morning, where he was set in the margin.
To point out Simon Ammann's chiaroscuro performance, landed at 132.5m in the first part of the race, where however low judgments of the judges due to the usual telemark had only placed him 8th. In the decisive runner-up, however, he found a negative jump, in addition to the worst winds he found behind his opponents.
Excellent excerpts from the second series include the Austrian Michael Hayböck, the public goodwill Vincent Descombes Sevoie and the Norwegians Andreas Stjernen and Anders Fannemel. For the athlete of Upper Austria and the oldest Scandinavian, it was the seasonal debut, but they were still a bit late in the season.
The Summer Grand Prix rankings saw Kubacki (300) in the lead, followed by a distance from Kot (210) and Leyhe (154).
Next appointment with the men's SGP scheduled in the Land of Sol Levante, where in Hakuba starting on August 25 will be the qualification stage followed by two individual competitions.
