Yesterday and that of today were played at Engelberg two competitions valid for the Continental Cup. For some nations the races have earned as a criterion to decide who gets the last pectoral available for the Four Hills Tournament, which gets underway tomorrow with the qualification of Oberstdorf.

A win over the sixth and last place for Norway was Halvor Egner Granerud. The latter triumphed in the competition yesterday, thanks to a second great leap in which landed at 142.5 m. The Norwegian has been more lucky to find the wind to moderate shoulders, while the closest they had found very strong opponents.
In second place he was placed teammate Joakim Aune, author of two very consistent series in which he achieved respectively the 1st and 2nd score. Closed the podium seventeen Slovenian Aljaz Osterc, he managed to overtake a fickle Johann Andre Forfang.
The jumper fact had concluded the first segment of the race in second position, but failed to repeat Tromsø in the second round, where he found the worst wind ever (more than 2 meters behind the wind).
The top 10 was monopolized by Norway (Sigurd Nymoen Søberg 6th and Joacim Ødegård Bjøreng 9th), Slovenia (Nejc Dezman Miran Zupancic 5th and 7th) and Austria (Clemens Aigner 8th and Stefan Huber 10 °).
For the Blues, Sebastian Colloredo came 13th, Alex Insam 20th, while David Brasadola did not reach the points zone (35th).

Today to excel was Daniel Huber, thanks to a solid performance in both races. Behind him on the podium Aljaz Osterc and Joakim Aune, reversed positions than twenty-four hours ago.
In 4th place went Granerud, with an opposite race to yesterday. In fact, after finishing in the lead the first set, he slipped off the podium in the decisive one where he found again more favorable wind conditions. But in today's day it is not able to take advantage of it and found a measure in line with opponents, but have gained ten points with compensation for the most unfavorable wind, managing to surpass the twenty year old Norwegian.
Whereas initially imagined that the last place for the Tour was contested between Forfang and Joachim Hauer, these two days have shown how Granerud and Aune are competitive at the moment. Forfang today came 5th, while further back he finished Hauer (yesterday and today 14 ° 10 °).
These competitions are also served as a test for Germany and Austria, which will have to decide which athletes line up in the national quota for the Tour. For the Teutonic will surely fail David Siegel, who injured his ankle.
Today in the top 10 has also seen a bit 'of Italy, with Sebastian Colloredo 8th, and Finland, with Antti Aalto 6th. All the Blues have managed to earn points, with Alex Insam 15th and David Bresadola 21 °.

The overall ranking of the Continental Cup sees still leading Slovenian Dinners Prevc, currently engaged in the maximum circuit, with 280 points. Daniel Huber followed with 265 and 248 Granerud.
Next round of the cadet circuit scheduled the weekend of 7 and 8 January in Titisee-Neustadt.
